- 12How this wrap is made
It was a broadly negative week for crypto. Bitcoin fell 2.4% over the seven days to November 8, 2026 and traded at $75,968 when this wrap was compiled. 10 of the 50 largest coins finished higher, and the median move was -5.5%.
The week in numbers
- Total crypto market value: $2.54 trillion (-2.8% since our last wrap on November 1)
- 24-hour trading volume: $28.9 billion
- Bitcoin dominance: 60.0% (up from 59.9%); Ether holds 10.7%
- Bitcoin: $75,968, -2.4% on the week, -8.4% over 30 days
- Ether: $2,239, -1.1% on the week, -10.2% over 30 days
Bitcoin: a 6.9% range
Bitcoin’s high for the week was $80,669 on Wednesday, November 4, and its low was $75,458 on Friday, November 6. The low came after the high, so the larger move inside the week was downward. At $75,968, the price sits in the lower third of that range and 39.8% below its all-time high.

Ether and the ETH/BTC ratio
Ether outperformed Bitcoin by 1.4 percentage points. One ETH now buys 0.02947 BTC, against 0.02903 at our last wrap. The ratio is a quick read on appetite for risk beyond Bitcoin: it tends to rise when money moves into smaller assets and fall when it retreats to Bitcoin.
Market breadth
14 of the other 49 large coins beat Bitcoin this week. Bitcoin held up better than most of the market, a sign that traders favoured the largest asset this week.

How this wrap is made
Every figure here was calculated by CoinPulseHQ from CoinGecko market data recorded on November 8, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. Stablecoins and wrapped or staked versions of other coins are left out of the rankings. Weekly changes compare with the price seven days earlier. This wrap is generated from data and describes what prices did, not what they will do. It is not financial advice.
