Celestia’s TIA token fell about 15% over 24 hours to roughly $0.626 by press time, days after rallying to $0.76 on the Eden launch, according to Ambcrypto. The outlet reported that trading volume dropped 60% over the same period.

Ambcrypto reported that more than $2 million in long positions were liquidated as the rally unwound. CoinGlass data cited by the outlet showed open interest falling 23% to $136 million and derivatives volume dropping 52% to $684 million.

Key facts

  • TIA peaked at $0.76 on Oct. 15 after Celestia launched Eden, then breached $0.70 and fell to $0.624.
  • Long liquidations exceeded $2 million, while open interest fell 23% to $136 million and derivatives volume dropped 52% to $684 million.
  • Spot Delta surged to 3.9 million, its highest since September 2025, per CoinAnk.
  • Spot Netflow was -$2.3 million on Oct. 17 and stayed negative at press time.
  • Coinpedia reported TIA jumped 23% to $0.754 after Eden launched and flagged the $0.80-$0.85 zone as major resistance.

Spot buyers versus leveraged sellers

Ambcrypto reported that spot activity pointed the other way: positive Delta showed aggressive buying outpaced aggressive selling, and negative netflow meant more TIA left tracked exchanges than arrived. Those readings suggested dip buyers were stepping in, but the price kept falling, so the buying had not yet steadied the token.

The reports differ on the scale of the launch rally. Coinpedia reported a 23% rise to $0.754, and Thenewscrypto reported a 16.5% daily gain on Oct. 16 with TIA near $0.717 at one point. Ambcrypto cited an Oct. 15 peak of $0.76. Thenewscrypto placed the RSI near 68.51 on the four-hour chart, close to the overbought 70 threshold, while Ambcrypto reported an RSI of 61, still above 50, after a bearish crossover. Coinpedia separately noted the RSI near 74 at the time of its analysis.

What Eden launched

Eden is an Ethereum-compatible chain built on the Evolve stack and powered by Celestia for data availability, per Thenewscrypto. It serves as a testbed for AI agents that transact and trade on-chain, with TIA as the gas token. Its first experiment, Botfun, lets participating agents issue and trade tokens, with model-inference payments handled through the x402 protocol.

Thenewscrypto also reported that TIA stayed above moving averages near $0.6904 and $0.6146 on the four-hour chart, and that the $0.75-$0.76 area is the immediate resistance, with $0.69-$0.70 as nearby support.

Why it matters

The split between falling derivatives exposure and positive spot flows determines whether the Eden rally was a leverage-driven spike or the start of a lasting bid. Leveraged traders have already been squeezed, so the next move depends on whether spot buyers keep absorbing supply. For holders, the difference between holding support and losing it is what separates a pullback from a deeper repricing.

What to watch

Ambcrypto identified $0.60 as the level to defend, with a break exposing $0.52; holding it could allow a retest of $0.70. Coinpedia’s $0.80-$0.85 band is the upside hurdle. Whether Eden produces measurable developer and transaction activity beyond its first experiments is the other test.

This is not financial advice, and crypto markets are volatile and uncertain.
