Tokenized stock platform xStocks saw its on-chain assets under management climb 19.1% to $1.03 billion over a month, up from $868 million, according to Ambcrypto, citing Token Terminal data published October 28, 2026.

Falling tokenized stock prices removed about $52 million from that total, but $209 million in net inflows more than covered the gap — roughly four dollars arriving for every dollar lost to price.

Key facts

  • xStocks’ on-chain AUM rose from $868 million to $1.03 billion, a 19.1% gain in one month.
  • Price declines cut about $52 million from the total, while net inflows reached $209 million.
  • Among the top 25 xStocks, 19 fell in price and 18 of those still attracted more money than they lost; Gold ETF GLDx was the only token with net outflows.
  • SOXLx, a 3x leveraged chip ETF token, fell 40% in price but drew net inflows of nearly 135%.
  • SRTCx was the largest token at $144.7 million, ahead of MSTRx at $124.4 million; together the two Strategy-linked tokens accounted for $269.1 million.

Dip buying outweighed price declines

Bitcoin and equity markets had a weak month, but tokenized stock traders kept adding to positions on-chain. The pattern was broad: nearly every top-25 token that fell in price still recorded more capital in than out. GLDx was the exception, the only one of the group where money left.

Analysts often read this mix — falling prices plus rising assets — as buyers treating declines as entry points rather than exits. The data supports that reading for xStocks, without settling whether the inflows represent new long-term holders or short-term positioning.

Tokenized stocks reach $1 billion on-chain

Beyond the monthly move, xStocks’ total on-chain value crossed $1 billion, up 802.5% from about a ninth of that size a year earlier. Strategy-linked tokens drove much of the concentration.

These tokens also left wallets: more than $300 million in tokenized stocks were moved into DeFi across all issuers, up about 2,451% year over year. xStocks held the largest share at $118.3 million, followed by Robinhood at $70.8 million and Binance’s bStocks at $38.4 million.

Why it matters

The data shows tokenized equities behaving like an active market rather than a holding vehicle — traders are adding, selling and deploying positions into DeFi, not just buying and waiting. That matters for issuers competing on liquidity and for DeFi protocols that now carry tokenized-stock collateral. It also matters for regulators: Ambcrypto previously reported that the U.S. SEC named tokenization among its examination priorities for fiscal year 2027, meaning firms offering these products should expect closer checks. The four-to-one inflow ratio is a snapshot of one month, not a guarantee that demand persists if prices keep sliding.

What to watch

Watch whether the inflow pattern holds through the next monthly Token Terminal update, and whether AUM stays above $1 billion if tokenized stock prices remain weak. The SEC’s fiscal 2027 examination cycle is the other dated item to track.

This is not financial advice. Tokenized stock and crypto markets are volatile, and past inflows do not predict future performance.
