On April 25, Moca launched an exhibit of FC Barcelona’s NFTs ‘In a Way, Immortal‘ and ‘Empowerment’ at its Barcelona museum. In light of its success, these digital artworks will begin showcasing in Amsterdam on May 30.
Both of these non-fungible collectibles are part of FC Barcelona’s esteemed ‘Masterpiece’ collection, which Barça Vision initiated.
Moca Museum’s Amsterdam exhibit will include these digital tributes to unite historical reverence with modern technology and pay homage to pivotal moments and figures in the football club’s history.
Moca Museum’s Iconic Artworks
Moca Museum, with locations in Barcelona, Amsterdam, and soon London, features a diverse collection of modern and street art, including works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Andy Warhol—alongside FC Barcelona’s contributions.
The NFT collection In a Way, Immortal captures a famous moment from December 22, 1973, when Johan Cruyff, also known as ‘The Flying Dutchman‘, executed a legendary play against Atlético Madrid.
Moreover, Empowerment highlights Alexia Putellas’ standout performance in the Women’s Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg, underscoring her role in promoting women’s equality in sports.
Notably, World of Women‘s artist Rhi Madeline designed the Masterpiece NFTs. Originally a Canadian oil painter renowned for large-scale cityscapes, she transitioned to 3D digital art to explore deeper storytelling themes.
